A slew of updates! Woohoo!
1. I've tracked down our European Correspondent, and we've put up a bio for Flubrick, the muffin caper extraordinaire!
2. We have two new affiliates - check them out at Links
3. Have you seen our Twittering? Hop over to Groom Lake from time to time
4. We have a new (and hopefully effective) system for deterring spam - you must type in a certain designated phrase in a certain place. Jules and I engaged in a "bitter sectional struggle" over the message to greet those unable to repeat the phrase, but we have reached a "felicitous compromise." (Hint: if you purposely mess up the phrase, you can see the message!)
5. We were contacted by the Sticker Sales Representative - we've posted it on the article's page in Groom Lake, as proof that we believe in primary source documents. Very important *nods*
6. There is a controversy on the Word List. (My favorite part is Jules's departure!)
7. We made the executive decision to tweak the welcoming message - what do you think? Better or worse?
8. The February feature - heads on a cart! Ain't it awesome?

(Stellaciel's making me. I think it's reciprocation for implying she was making an implication. I SAID I WAS SORRY! Or, rather, I implied my apologies...hmm.)

1. Being the official Ughy PR, I was doing my usual PR-y things (aka surfing the web and pretending to be productive) when Stellaciel asked me to find a website that makes customized stickers so I could stick them on random people and hope they're intrigued enough to come to our site. (Or I also propositioned that we put Gorilla Glue on the backs and write on the stickers "To find out how to remove this sticker, please come to this website." She seemed to think this would create negative connotations for the Ughy Club, but I didn't necessarily see that as a bad thing...)

I think I'd rather be reading Harry Potter.

Just got through editing all the pages (the HTML anyways). Apparently, we have 0 chance of ever passing the W3C HTML validator because of the CBOX and the webhost and other questionable practices ... Changed the navbar IDs though, in hopes of fixing javascript issues, BUT. I think it made everything slower.

Oh well. When we find time, the Atelier will finally be up because we have plans!
